Any of you ever do any wheeling?? I'm working on one right now that's a long bed and it's departure angle just keeps haunting me... Not a fan of bobbed bed either.. just my opinion.

How do you guys like your's offroad? Always draggin butt?

I've taken mine. it needs ALOT of lift to clear. 6.5" is a decent size for that length. also, remember to get a bumper that's tucked up high in the rear, and forget carrying a spare tire under there.

build protective skids in the back there and you won't have to worry about it much. just watch your wheeling and make sure you can clear it.

A custom bumper (raised up higher than stock) and rocker protection will go a long ways towards protecting your sheetmetal.

I abused a LWB Mj for a few yrs before I truggied it. Key to wheeling it is strong rock rails... and a srtong rear bumper with side protection. Even with that being said, It is still possible to bash sheetmetal :brows: IF you Don't have one, you might want to armor your gas tank as well.

I wheel my long bed and love it. It is down for the count with a siezed caliper right now. The back bumper does drag sometimes though.
