Time for some rust repair on the kids truck. Not trying to do anything fancy, but I don't want it to rot out either. Once the rust holes are patched, the bottom 6" of the panels will be herculined.

Need to get some spot putty to cover up my lack of skill with the bondo, looks good in a picture or from 5 feet away ;)

Looking better - if you stand a few feet away ;) The paint on the bed will almost certainly start rusting off again soon.

On to the other side which has just a little rust through on the cab corner.

And as done as it's going to get today. We got a set of uncut front fenders and flares from the u-pull which will be done as time allows, and he's talking about doing some art work on the bed sides.
