Spre tire carrier

I want to mount my spare in my bed, but i can't seem to find a carrier for under $300.

 

does anyone know where i could get one for less?

I love my Fabtech rear tire carrier except for the fact that it takes up bed room, but thats part of having a 35" spare. I would recommend it to anyone.

I just strap mine in off to the side of the bed, behind the cab but in front of the wheel well. This way I don't really have to sacrifice bed space.

alrighty, i snapped a few for ya. i bent the tubing with a bender we had at high school. welded on a giant bolt to hold the hub. luckily the hub was frozen, so the tire doesnt want to spin :D

 

i had probably $15 into it. we had the tubing lying around, so i had to buy all the hardware.

 

This was my first time welding, so that is why the welds are sub-par. Its bolted through the bed, not just the bedliner :roll:
