What is the length difference between the 4x4 posi lok for stock applications and posi lok for >3" lift application?

Yeah, I was really just wanting the specific length of each. Example: stock application = (insert #); >3" lift = (insert #).

I have one, but cannot really measure it, sorry.

Its installed and getting an accurate measurement the way its routed would prove a daunting task...

I'm not sure of the length of them; I've never measured one...

 

I do believe that the 3"+ is 6" longer than the stock-3" one. I could be way off, but I recall talking with Posi-Loc for a customer about the difference in length and being told that it's 6" longer.

Back before they had a 3" lift version I had one in my XJ with 6.5" of lift. I'd buy the longer one- can't go wrong with too much cable!

The only reason I ask is because the local NAPA has the standard application posi lok for $209. That's cheaper than anywhere else when shipping is accounted for. My only concern is that it will not be long enough for my MJ with 5" of lift.

I bought one for out YJ many years ago. They didn't have any choices back then and it is now SOA and still has plenty of cable. I can't see where 3" more would make any difference unless it is the application...MJ vs. YJ ... :dunno: . Maybe the MJ part is shorter to start with than the one for the YJ...??

The MJ/XJ/YJ all use the same part, so that has no relation to the length.

 

I called Posi-Lok for you and the length on the 920 kit (3"+) is 18" longer in cable length than the normal 900 kit.

Thanks for that info. I'm going to test fit the regular application model. If it's too short, I'll be hitting you up for the longer one.
