NP 242 &ax15?

Has anyone ever seen this setup? was it an option?

 

I would like to run a 242 case if I can,and if I stay 5spd on the ole wreck , I was wondering if this would fly?

It was never an option, but they will bolt up. I'll be trying the very same thing in a few weeks on my '90. :D

It Just seems for DD and mild trail rig ,that would be a sweet setup

 

I kinda wonder how the 242 would take to having lockers releasing and relocking around corners? ( lockrights or aussies that is)

If the fates smile on me (which they haven't been lately :roll: ), I'm planning on swapping a 242 in behind my AX5 this summer.....

 

There's a couple of guys on NAXJA who run/ran one behind a -15, with no issues.

We're still waiting for me to get my hands on the donor organs. :D Now that this semester is FINALLY over, it should be pretty soon.
