They should since they work in a cherokee...

The passenger side will work without any problems; however, because of the fact that the XJ's e-brake is hand operated and the MJ's e-brake is foot operated, I'd suspect that the speaker would be a hindrance if you use or plan to use the e-brake.

 

Excellent find though, I've been looking for something like this.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but you may want to look a your panel and see how many scuff marks are on it. For me, I know my foot kicks that panel alot. Hhmmm, is that why they call it a kick panel.

 

Anyway just food for though before you waste any money.

I have a set and never used them in my XJ. They take up alot of space. Even on the pass side. No way your going to want to use them on the driver side. If you want to try them you can have for shipping , because i know you won't be able to use them, LOL.
