CrankShaftKid Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Anyone familar with freight shipping? I'm having trouble finding a carrier to ship 5 rims and tires from Denver to Houston. Any suggestions on a carrier or a good place to get a quote? thanks
Motion Offroad Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 DHL - www.dhl-usa.com We ship tires on a weekly basis and by far the fastest and cheapest option their is.

Sent thursday from Las Vegas via DHL ground for about $18/wheel. Might be even cheaper from Denver since DHL has a regional hub there.
armybmbsqd Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Stay away from FedEx if you want them to get to their destination. I shipped a brand new tire using FedEx and it made it to Portland (I was in WA at the time) and from there I think it ended up on someones truck. At least the insurance paid off :D
summerinmaine Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I had a couple of bumpers shipped to me, and after pricing everyone I could find, FedEx Ground was the cheapest, by a fair bit, and delivered right to my door. YMMV
