I read through this thread http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... rheadrough and I'm still not sure if this is a self contained unit (only need to run power, acc. power, ground, etc)? HOrnbrod Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 Yeah, this was my post originally. I did have one of these ZJ overhead consoles w. ambient temp and map lights from a 95. It is self contained; all you need to add is IGN and constant power, ground, and the temp sensor, and will work fine in an MJ size-wise. I decided to go a different route by building in a Benz ambient temp display in my existing clock, and adding an auto dimming mirror w. map lights. But since I've found another overhead console even smaller w. Homelink, sunroof switch, and more lights. So I'm getting all the stuff I need to get this functional, including the sunroof. I was only referring to the written content in the thread. hornbrod: sounds fancy.........how did you like the zj console when you had it? And what did you have to do for a temperature gauge?
