stopracing Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Ok here goes. I installed my lift kit and the left front sets 1 inch lower. When i got the truck it had some spring spacers and crap put in the left front to make it set level. I just figured the spring was broke down. Installed the new lift springs and it still set one inch lower. I have looked over the inner fender to make sure it has not been crashed or bent and still can't find anything wrong. Just wanting to know if anyone else has ran into this problem?
Rokhound Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 i have no clue what the deal is with that truck man. did you check the coil spring pad on the axle  I am lost on this one to some one help
CWLONGSHOT Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Some comanches are just like this.. dunno why. Mine is too. Just throw an extra 1" spacer on that side and forget about it. CW
stopracing Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 I installed a 1/2 inch spacer under the spring and installed 4 of those pop in rubber spacers i think i will go but a regular one inch spacer and install it on the top. I have it close to setting the same in the front now. I have looked this thing over from front to rear no cracks or bends in the frame. It also drives like new and it has 180,000 on it.
Renegade Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Mine did the same thing. Since it also sat much lower than the rear I popped for some ACOS. They leveled it side to side & also gave me the extra lift to level it front to rear.
