When i did my xj i used the same center bolt you did. It should be fine. The plastic or nylon pads were clear gone out of my mj so i just put the springs back together without them but check a spring shop. There is a bolt and a sleeve on the other part. Can also get the sleeve at a spring shop or make your own.

I installed a 1/2 inch spacer under the spring and installed 4 of those pop in rubber spacers i think i will go but a regular one inch spacer and install it on the top. I have it close to setting the same in the front now. I have looked this thing over from front to rear no cracks or bends in the frame. It also drives like new and it has 180,000 on it.

Ok here goes. I installed my lift kit and the left front sets 1 inch lower. When i got the truck it had some spring spacers and crap put in the left front to make it set level. I just figured the spring was broke down. Installed the new lift springs and it still set one inch lower. I have looked over the inner fender to make sure it has not been crashed or bent and still can't find anything wrong. Just wanting to know if anyone else has ran into this problem?

I am just trying to get everything straight on it. I would really like to find one in a little better shape and wheel the he@l out of this one. -

Sounds like fun! I used to have an old 73 jeep about 9 years ago we 13 inchs or so. Me and some friends went out playing the dist. got wet so we tied a sandwich bag around it, then the fender wells were getting plugged up with snow and you couldn't turn the wheels.

What do i check or how? I also had a problem where the high beam ligh on the dash stayed on and the headlights and ign. switch was off? :dunno: -
A couple of weeks ago i got home and it was dark enough that i had the headlights on. I shut the switch off and the dash/tail lights were off but the head lights stayed on. I turned the ign. switch back on they went out. Last night i stopped to get gas and left the wiper switch in the on with the key off the wipers kept working same thing with the heater blower motor if you don't turn it off on the heater control it will stay going. Is there something wired direct on the fuse box or what?
