DansGreyMj Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 ive seen them installed both ways but which way is better the isolator first or the coil spacer first
Pete M Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Depends if the spacer (poly?) will squeak against the coil. I would keep the rubber isolator in contact with the coil 'cause I know it will be quiet.
Bounty Hunter Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Remove the isolator, install the spacer, and then reinstall the isolator. Keep in mind that OEM isolators are stackable to customize the lift height.
CWLONGSHOT Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Other than the squeaking, Pete mentioned, it dosen't really matter. You could do this either way. CW
comanchedude Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I would think the spacer against the body then the isolator this would provide a solid stable mounting place for the spacer thats my 2cent
