shaft length. get a 21 spline 231 with a long input shaft. that will work

the 231 geonovast and I had at hand (from a ba10/5) had a short input and would not have sealed up properly...weeping fluid isn't good. other than that one problem, it's easy.

OH and there IS a kit out there somewhere, and also a seal that has a longer piece on it so you can use the short input on a tranny that requires long input. no idea where, but i've been told it is.

Teraflex makes a seal extender. It claims it's for yj and tj but it might work. I used one on my TJ for the 241OR. They're a little tricky but work good. I have a spare that I can get measurements off of if anyone needs them. Here's a link

I'm probably just gonna go to my friend bruce's machine shop and turn my own...make it a bit more heavy duty than that...and perhaps thread it in (guys, I have like 4 ax5 tranny shells...i think i can do this :P)
