McClare
I've had some complaints about my truck mostly from girls saying "god it's tough to get into this contraption!" Sure I tell them to stop whining or whatever but has anyone ever put a handle in the passenger side on the A-pillar like most half tons come with? I see some knockouts in the A-pillar panel for them. Is there a vehicle that has them that'll just mount on nice and easy?
jtdesigns
I know the libbies have those on the a-pillar not sure if they would work because i'm pretty sure the trim is rounded out where your hand goes through...

You're lucky girls even want to get in your rig. ASSuME because it's lifted they are complaining? Why not put in a rocker panel baby step for the ladies? I did mount a grab handle however on the drivers side for myself though, just mirrored the passenger's handle. A little dremel work, but no problem. They can be mounted 'bout anywhere there's sheet metal for the screws.
McClare
you say you mirrored the passenger handle? Mirrored what? What did you use for the handle?

jtdesigns
you say you mirrored the passenger handle? Mirrored what? What did you use for the handle? What he did was take one thats on the passengers side and put it on the drivers side... The same way it looks on the pass side is the way it is on the drivers side.. You do have a passenger side ( oh $h%t) handle about hair level don't you? Just get another one from a xj and make it fit on the drivers side.... :D EDIT: or you could do like we did on humvees and put just a looped strap that hangs down so your shorties can grab onto it and lift their ka-donadonks up in your rig !! McClare
hahaha the holy **** handle. haha ka-donkadonk. you guys are idiots. I love it. Mine never came with a handle on the drivers or passengers side and I never happened to notice one on a xj or mj so I just thought they never made them. I'll have a look next time I'm in the PnP. Thanks for the help guys

JohnQ
I would leave the handles off and just give a helping hand or hands to get the girls in. :brows:
