LJMXJ Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Well alright here's the deal I am the proud owner of a two Jeeps and a Suzuki Samuri Completly Stock 89 Jeep Comanche Sport I6 Auto Tranny 2WD -Soon TO be Very Bad @$$ 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo I6 Auto Tranny 4WD 4.5 Rough Country Lift 32/11.50/15 MAXXIS MUDDER BUCKSHOTS K&N air filter Bosch Plugs and wires removed rear sway bar Costum Grill Flowmaster Muffler, no Cat CB Radio Custom Tow Hooks All synthetic Oils Mobile 1 r-134a Retrofited Gas tank skid plate IPF Headlights Remaned 4.0L Cut Fenders/ Removal Of Flares Full Size Wilderness Roof Rack 4 Hella Series 500 Spot Lights Herculined Floor Board 6x9 and 6 1/2 Sony Explod Speakers Pitts Fab Prerummer W/teeth Homemade Rearbumper 15 x 8, 2 5/8 BS, Pro Comp Rock Crawler Rims "Missing Link Mod" W/ Rubicon Express Upper Link The Samuri Has some stuff done to it but nothin yall are interested in We Around my parts call this beast the dent Plans For The MJ First i gotta Pull the heep into the shop, motor is shot with 208 thousand miles on it... Bed, fenders ,grille, hood, suspension and drivetrain is all coming out Its getting a bad @$$ tube bed which will be integrated though the cabe into the internal roll cage. for the time being til i save more money, its getting a spring over and the 4.5 RC kit off the XJ, along with the XJ axles and drivetrain. Fenders are comming off the XJ since there already cut perfect for the 32s, Grille assymbly is comming off the XJ because its shinny and not dull black dash is getting swaped out of the XJ into the MJ a sye kit for the Tcase and some tom woods driveshafts and a safari snorkel to top it off i think i covered all that will be done within the next few weeks Once i get a few more dollars saved up THe MJ is gonna be umstopable, its getting a ford 9" rear axle and Dana 44 front axle, fox 2.5 18" travel air shox all the way around and double triangulated 4 link in the rear and a 3 link for the front. all hi missalignment arora joints the 9" is gonna be loaded out with disk brakes, detroit locker 5.13 gears and 35 spline axles the front axles gonna get ARB Air Locker and 5. 13 gears, warn lock out hubs and hi steer Tires are gonna be some 36" IROKS and some bead lock wheels form somewhere. I already have the axles , now i just need money to buy the parts for the Axles. all the stuff before the axle swap is already covered. just have to find time to finish the engine swap in the sami then i can put the MJ where the sami sits! LJMXJ Posted September 19, 2005 Author Share Posted September 19, 2005 kinda, I'm stationed at Duke Field, I'm only in the reserves, My day to day job is working at Pitts Fab, i work with a fabricator and we install lift kits and do costom tube work and all kinds if neat stuff to 4x4s. pingpong Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Love your plans :D Mine are not to far off from yours, but I am looking to put a 14 Bolt and a D60 under mine with dual cases :twisted: I am slowly but surely collecting the needed parts. I figure in roughly a yr or so I wil have all of them. Once my tired 4.0 gives up, I plan on going with a small v-8 or the vortec v-6 :twisted: Only reason is they are cheap, and abundant.. means less cost in building them.
