TheNerfsmith Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Hi guys, Lately I’ve been thinking about what to do about putting the badges back onto my Comanche. The only ones left are the 4.0 Litre and the Metric Ton (it has the D44 and upgraded leafs). Given my recent searches and attempts the Metric Ton badge is becoming a headache. That being said, I was mulling over what to do about denoting that. My recent idea was to put a Jeep Performance Parts Badge on it (See image). My line of reasoning follows that the upper trims at the time would’ve qualified for a “performance package“ and I feel like the sidegraded metric ton would’ve fit that bill. But I’m curious to hear the thoughts of the community on this.
eaglescout526 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I feel like the metric ton nameplate was rare then as it is now. The metric ton was also denoted as the big ton with a sticker in the rear window. I believe those are reproduced at boxy jeep. I know someone on here was also 3D printing nameplates.

That’s good to know about the decal for the window. Will definitely pick that up. As for the nameplate the jury is still out on that.
carolinajeepman Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I can check tomorrow but I think I have a metric ton in black made already if you’re interested
