1989 Comanche - Salem, Oregon

This is my 1989 Jeep Comanche. It has the 2.5 liter engine and ax5 transmission, which is mated to the NP207 transfer case. Dana 30 and 35 axles as stock but with upgraded with 4.10 gears. The jeep is lifted three inches and currently runs on 245/70/17 tires. It’s been my daily driver for three years, and in that time, I’ve put a lot of time and work into it. However, over the past six months I’ve been battling an issue with the Renix computer system. The main symptoms include lack of power and occasional stalling. Despite my efforts, and the efforts of a Jeep specialist, the issue has not been resolved. I’m genuinely sad to let it go, but it’s time for me to move on. Would love to see it go to someone who knows these trucks or wants a solid project.

There's gotta be a route to your problem. The guys on CC can surely pinpoint it, I would think.

 

Unless your truck has 4-D Gremlins, you may consider keeping it.

I’m still trying to sell it. I'm starting collage and I need a car I can drive longer distances in comfortably. I got an 04 wrx which I’m starting to learn about

Yea man, I was a bit surprised that I've had ZERO interest from here and from my FB Marketplace ad that I placed recently.  I thought I'd get some interest, but nothing but crickets so far.

Keep in mind that probably most members and viewers on here have an MJ/XJ their own. Continue to market your trucks here for those who don't, or want another.
