Need Rear Rubber Brakeline Hose for 2.5L

Recommended Posts

Do you still have the factory brake valve in the rear? It cuts pressure to the rear brakes when the rear rises during a stop, so lifting  the rear with it in place cuts brake pressure. In the early days, I just removed the rod and turned the adjuster to a good position. Now it's bypassed completely.

Id recommend jacking up by the "frame" to check the hose length. I put an add a leaf on my XJ's saggy rear springs and it was stretched tight when the rear dropped. You can also sometimes relocate the bracket where it mounts to allow more droop.
