any 88 4.0 power steering pump upgrades?

I keep seeing late model XJ upgrades (to a WJ unit).  do the early years have one too?  ZJ maybe?

snagged a local direct replacement so this has moved to the hypothetical.

I suppose a person could convert to electric power steering. Might free up some room in the engine bay and will consume less horsepower. Probably not worth doing unless it was in a manual steering 4cyl.
