trppy7 Posted yesterday at 04:00 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:00 AM i just replaced the tail lights to led oracle and when i have the lights on the daylight or nighttime light. the turning signals won't flash b/c of the lights being on, even the fronts lights won't signals. i have to turn them off just to get the lights to flash but won't work at night b/c i need the lights on of course. i was going to replace either the light switch or the turning switch to see if that's work but wanted to ask if anyone else ran into the same problem. eaglescout526 Posted yesterday at 04:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:19 AM ................Hmmm. This is a new one. If I had to suspect, you need the LED specific flasher to get them to work together. Thats my guess. I was gonna say the sockets are bad but you said they work with the lights off. Salvagedcircuit Posted yesterday at 05:06 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:06 AM I'd grab an electronic flasher locally from advance or napa, like the Grote 44891, and see if it fixes the problem. I use that in my MJ and it helped with a weird issue I was having with my new led headlights and a very quiet yet new thermo-mechanical flasher. coheed
I would also switch to an electronic flasher just to see if it makes a difference. However there's very mixed results of whether you need them or not with the Oracle tail lights. I have them on my truck and I'm still using the same thermal flashers with no issues and I've heard other people say the same. But there's also quite a few people that say they needed to switch. Seems Oracle may be inconsistent with whether they put resistors in the tail lights or not.
