Dana 35 non c-clip ring gear

Are the ring and pinion gears the same for non c clip and c clip axles? And are the interchangeable?

Thank you. Been wondering this for quite some time. Need to put a new ring and pinion in mine. I know the spider gears and axle shafts are different because I purchased the wrong spider gears once. I'm guessing the drum brakes are different too? But everything else is the same for sure?

The ring and pinion are the same. The brakes for the non c clip axles are typically the larger 10” drums vs the later 9” drums.
