    I had thought for a while it would be fun to have a model of my Comanche and I saw recently people sell files to use in 3D printers to make pieces for making a 1/24 scale model pretty easy and kind of fun. The link above will get you to where you can buy the file for $6.00 and then you can go to CraftCloud.com and they will print the file and mail you the pieces. 

  There are other Jeep Comanche files from other sources in different size scales too. One of the nicer and more detailed Comanche files though has a flaw, the rear wheel wheel opening isn't centered on the bed so maybe watch for that before choosing which place to get your printer file. Anyway,  I combined these parts with a Jeep Wrangler model this scale to get the Rubicon Moab wheels, axles, engine, etc.  and I ordered a 3D printed dash, steering wheel and inside door panels from a different Comanche file you can also find easy online.

  I hadn't made a model in many years, since I was a kid and I sure made a lot of mistakes while painting and having sticky fingers from the glue, this is very far from perfect but it still looks cool on my desk I think.  I hope this helps a little if anybody else was thinking about having a mini desk top Comanche too.
