In which system does the voltage go up as the throttle opens, renix or HO?

cruiser54
Why? At rest, Renix reads about .83 volts and the voltage climbs as the throttle is opened. The TRANS side of the TPS works opposite, like an HO. Is that what they spliced into?

Do you mean that maybe they cut that off and wire the HO TPS to it?

cruiser54
The wires that the HO TPS are tied into are Renix engine TPS wires. That ain't gonna work. Now I'm wondering something. What if a guy tapped the correct Renix Trans TPS plug into the correct wires for the HO engine TPS?

cruiser54
And it still needs a Renix TPS.
