Engine Bolt Expert Needed!

Today I noticed that the reason my AC compressor has been wobbling and my serpentine best has been rubbing on my water pump is because two mounting bolts are gone. I cannot find a source that notes the size. Does anyone here have that info?

No.12 on the parts diagram that’s for your bracket says it’s 45mm long. There’s 5 left if you want me to order two of them. J4007585

Is the size and thread pitch known so that I can just find some locally?

I plan to break out my Jeep|Eagle hardware book to find the part number above and see what the info is.

3/8", TP is 16. length is 1", hardness of 8, made out of steel and its finish is zinc

No problem. That is like one of the few times that book has provided me insight of the bolts used on our Jeeps.

Virtually all the bolts that go into the engine block of the 2.5 or 4.0 are going to be SAE thread, because the engine was designed LONG before the push to metric hardware that started in the 1980's.

 

That's a good little tip to remember when you start searching for wrenches or replacement bolts.
