shdbriding
Put a slant 6 in a manche? Only reason I'm asking is because i got a good one layin around and the 2.8 is on its last legs.
mjeff87
the Leaning Tower of Power.....interesting idea ;) Might have some issues with the distributor and the shock tower on the passenger side (like not being able to get to it without pulling the motor). beaterjeep
It would definitely be an interesting swap to say the least. I'd say if it will fit, go for it. :brows:
Kenosha Warrior
i toyed with the thought. the mounts will need to be lowered an inch'n'a bit to get it all to clear the hood.

Here's the one you need: Blown slant six. @ 4250RMP this puppy cranks out 340.3ft/lbs of torque and 275.4 HP, and will fit under an MJ/XJ hood w. no mods except a small cutout in the inner left fenderwell for the carb cold air intake. Lot less weight too. A bit wild for the street in this configuration :D , but a de-tuned version I think would be an ideal candidate for an MJ.
