shortee1fourtee
Hello again too, just wantedto say its a pleasure to be apart of the Comanche club. So I was just needing some advice on the best route to take on rebuilding the front suspension of my 89 comanche pioneer, 2wd, 4.0 liter. As ive stated before, it sat for 8 years before i come across it. So needless to say everything bushing and bearing related went downhill fast. I would like to upgrade it to something a little more rugged and dependable but unfortunately money has been extremely tight with today's economy and ive had to bury my grandfather and father both this year with only month separating them. Needless to say, I'm ready to see 2023,with hopes that it is better year than this one. But any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe point me towards the best place to purchase parts at a low price. Its my only dd. And as of now its parked due to I know the drag link ball joint, upper and lower ball joints and who knows what else. Thanks in advance
Limeyjeeper
I use RockAuto for parts. They usually have by far the best prices and often several options depending on your budget.

They usually have by far the best prices and often several options depending on your budget. And they usually have a 5% discount code floating around. Also ebay and amazon. Here's the part numbers for your tie rod, tie rod ends, and draglink. This includes the Grand Cherokee ZJ V8 tie rod which is a bit thicker than the stock MJ/XJ one: MOOG DS1312 MOOG DS1238 MOOG ES2079S MOOG ES3096L Ball joints: Spicer 40583, 40916 Take a look at your control arms and track bar as well. If you want a HD replacement that won't break the bank, check Core4x4. I personally found this to be the most economical route for higher quality components without spending too much. Click the link in my signature to see these parts installed on my MJ.
75sv1
I'd check Ebay too. Sometimes stuff goes cheap there. I try and use the MOOG P/Ns or MOPAR ones. Also, if you can find the TRW or Norris-McQuay those are good parts.
