carnuck Posted December 15, 2007 Share Posted December 15, 2007 Chev built the trans. Motor was @400 HP Poor thing must have been really worn out. 400HP at what kind of torque? What exactly broke? I stomped on it and downshifted to second, taking out the planetary and front pump at the same time. The Monza was travelling on an angle up the highway at the time with wheels spinning.
