Camper Shell mounting rubber source?

Picking up a Gem Top Camper Shell/Topper for the MJ tomorrow.

Actually, I am meeting the hand-off Shipper (not the guys I contracted with) in a Phoenix Truck Stop tomorrow with a rented U-Haul truck... 100 miles short of the contracted-to destination... but that's another story...

 

The seller indicated the mounting rubber for the bed was about 1" thick and 3" wide, with adhesive securing the rubber to the bed edge.  He removed the Topper a while ago, so I have no basis of info to replace the rubber with something as close as possible to the original. Whatever he used - it provided a dead level install with the cab. 

 

Amazon has a wide variety of options; from low density door-seal type of stuff to solid rubber.  The closest I can find to what i think would work is attached - but it is only 1.5" wide x 0.5" height. I cannot find anyone in the Tucson area selling rubber parts of this type.

 

Anybody with a Topper seen or have a replacement source for something similar?

they have pretty much any type of seal material imaginable.

That’s the seal I used and it’s just fine. There is also truck topper seal at Lowes for like $10. Its the flat kind.

That "the foam factory" site is great; lots of different stuff they carry.

Did not know that Lowes carried a variety of rubber stuff as well; their flat stuff may be best suited for up against the cab.  A pity they are 50 miles from me.
