Heater Blower Replace

After suffering a third winter with a struggling blower motor, I decided to replace the motor today. It's all in and working. However, it's only really blowing from the defrost vents. I'm reading that is a vacuum issue. True? If so, what's the fix?

Trace the small hard vacuum lines that come from the vacuum canister, front right of bumper, and check for cracks.
