jeepmjga
Not sure if this should be in the pub or not. Just curious what spares everyone carries when wheeling and how? Plastic tub? Large toolbox? Custom box? Been thinking about making a box that goes under my truck box in the bed to carry spare axles and driveshafts etc., wanted to see what everyone else has. DirtyComanche
I made a really crappy video on it at one point. Basically it's 3 "pelican" knock off cases. I've got a starter, alt, driveshaft ujoint, a bunch of sensors, ECM, fuel pump, FP regulator, some wire, and a bunch of tools. Then another small Rubbermaid Action Packer with some ATF, oil, brake fluid, and coolant. And a tarp, because I hate lying in mud. I don't carry axle parts because Dana 60. Pete M
mine is a dedicated overlander/toy so the bed is just full of boxes (the empty space perfectly fits a tote). shafts went under the bed hung up like conduit. not sure why I ever dragged shafts around with me. my wheeling style is very much on the cautious side (especially when it's my ride home).
