Damonk90
Hey all, not sure if I can use this website this way to pick brains but!! I am restoring my 88 pioneer 4.0. Ran into a few bumps such as cleaning up all hacked up wiring. I have gotten the factory radio plug back into place but, where does the head unit ground connect to? Only black I have found is for I believe right rear speaker. Am I completely missing a wire? There is also the gray power antenna wire. Does that have to be plugged in as well? NEXT UP My interior lights. Have done cruisers ground for instrument panel etc. But can not for the life of me get the cab lights to work by the switch or door. Replaced bulbs and was not the issue. Any ideas, have a diagram, or a tip?? Thank you in advance!!! Long project ahead!
jdog
Welcome, all questions welcomed. Iirc it grounds to the back of the radio unit, the wire should be separate then the rest,. Interior lights, how's the fuse? Do you have power at the lights? Are you using the factory lights, if so are they in the on position?

jdog
Ah OK @Minuit Would know, other wise only other suggestion I have is there's a electrical manual here on the site, hopefully @Pete M Would comment as he has the link in his signature I believe. I would just say run it to the ground location same as the dash but that's just what I would do
Pete M
cruiser54 has a digital copy of the electrical manual on his site which you can get to via the link in my signature. Damonk, be sure to put some basic info about your truck into your signature.
