ftpiercecracker1 Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 What is the consensus on the fuel pump bracket/hanger? I'm not trying to replace the sender, but the whole bracket that holds the pump in the tank. That nipples that come out of the tank through the little round piece of sheet metal broke free a looong time ago. I tried to patch with JB weld, didn't work. Left it alone and decided to only filled tank half way. Now pump has gone and while I'm at it figured I would fix the bracket too. From what I recall xj brackets are different. Is my only option to repair what I've got? I mean I can, but if I can buy a cheap Chinese replacement I will.
