WahooSteeler
Going to install "The Cure" from Ruff Stuff today, and when I unbolted my tie rod it spun freely in the adjuster sleeeve/clamp on the opposite end where you adjust the length. I'm assuming this should not be the case? I did not install the new components when I upgraded to ZJ V8 units, but I have always been under the impression this was to be clamped down once you've adjusted your tie rod length. The adjuster has a bolt clamp on each end that should tighten up nice and snug to prevent movement

Found a vid that said they should be torqued to @14ft/lbs........Done.
OldManComanche
I have had a couple of Jeeps that someone used a welder to "clamp" the adjusting sleeve. I guess the train of thought is "set it and forget it"
