8.8 rear axel lift

Quick and easy question. If I get a 8.8 rear end, do I still use mj suspension stuff i.e lift kits ect? Or ranger leafs?

I don't know if the Ranger leaf springs are the same dimensions. You know, for sure, that the MJ suspension components with line up with the mounts.

You'll, obviously, have to weld perches in the correct place.

Yep, you want to use the stock MJ leaf  springs and weld on new perches to align it all up and get the right pinion angle. If your going spring over axle, you’d also want the longer soa spring perches to help prevent axle wrap.

It should fit. The question will be if the pinion angle is correct for your truck. Are we talking spring under or over the axle?

Thanks for the answers. I understand the pinon angle. It was just the springs I had the question about
