The exact dimensions can vary based on whether you have a bench or buckets and a console or not. I made the base from 1/4" plywood. Then framed it with 1x2. Applied wood glue, clamped it all together, and hammered in some trim nails. The legs underneath have a slight angle cut to match the floor angle and keep the storage tray level. I stained it with a single coat of Minwax Classic Gray 271 to match my interior. Made some L shaped brackets from scrap metal which holds it to the floor.
