Andybobandy
Fuel pump cutting in an out turn the key to the on position fuel pump engages sometimes an sometimes not checked all wiring seems fine, hold gas when starting stays running shuts right off after i take my foot off, any suggestions? I can get it to idle sometimes and then when i go for a ride the Jeep dies out within minutes. Real head scratcher, i replaced the relay and cleaned al the terminals and made sure i had a proper ground.
MiNi Beast
Have you checked the idle air control censor?

scaleless
I would first rent a fuel pressure guage from your local parts store and verify you have proper pressure, since you say you're not sure if the pump is running properly. Another thing is to check for vacuum leaks. A significant leak would cause it to die while idling. Then if you can rule out fuel and a vacuum leak, I would look at the IAC valve. cruiser54
There are so many things it could be. The line from the throttle body to MAP sensor could be bad. Intake manifold bolts could be loose. You're gonna have to check things out. Also would be a great idea to complete Tips 1 through 5 at www.cruiser54.com soon.
