CGCWO
IMG_3675.MOV So I was able to get Little Blue (87 4.0 renix 4x4 auto) to run. Bypassed fuel pump relay after replacing all the fuel line connections, fuel pressure regulator and basically a completely new fuel system from tank to injectors. Now I need to figure out why the relay isn’t working correctly. I have tried several new supposedly hood relays and the only thing that works is using a jumper on the relay. Any suggestions or thoughts as where to look?

Ωhm
Need to do a visual inspection of your fusible links located on the starter relay. Look for bubbles, holes, open wire. If fusible links look good, track back wire at D1_5 to its splice in the harness.

I am ready for spring/summer.
Ωhm
On a precautionary note, the way you jumped the Fuel Pump Relay Block, Fuel Pump Motor, Injectors and a few other components are now running current flow through the Ignition Switch (I1 feed). Could possibly overheat the IGN SW.

Non-existing splice on D1_5

Ωhm
Splice_E is HOT (B+) from the Fusible LInk G. Splice_E also feed B+ to the Fuel Pump Relay C216_1 (30).
CGCWO
She started right up, not a steady idle but the splice was the fuel pump/pressure issue. Idles up then almost dies, but comes back to life. IMG_3691.MOV
