1988 Comanche “olympic” 2WD  Long Bed Manual trans. Got it from a good friend who passed and “restoring” it to its glory.  We named her Hiawatha and she’s going to be an ode to my late friends Native American heritage

it would be cool to see the history. This trucks odometer stopped at 348,000 miles and appears to be almost all original

Wow this is great! Always a delaware truck which is cool!  Can you help me understand the color code for paint and my carpets? I initially thought the carpets were “gold” but now I’m thinking they are “cognac”

thanks for the help Eagle Scout

No problem! Given that it’s an 88 truck, there was only one color in the tan department and it is tan. After 88 it is known as sand. I have a whole thread on interior colors and SEM paints compatible to restore your interior color.

Also a common issue we run into with build sheets can be the lack of paint color. In the bottom left hand corner of the firewall VIN plate will be a two or three digit code. That will be your paint code.

do you remember if I moved that to the DIY or is it buried in Tech?
