All around mj Posted September 14, 2021 Author Posted September 14, 2021 Getting the little flux cored welder dialed in was a bit of trial and error but things are happening.

All around mj Posted September 25, 2021 Author Posted September 25, 2021 It’s been over two years since this truck has had carpet and it finally has all of its interior put back in. I went with euramtec lights for the b-pillars. I have more goodies to take pictures of under the hood as well.
All around mj Posted September 25, 2021 Author Posted September 25, 2021 Had I know ACC Carpet had ruby red carpet I would have went with it instead of maroon.

Pete M Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 but why would something called ruby red be darker than maroon?

If one were to think of stones a ruby is more of a pinkish color while the garnet is a dark red color. The maroon carpet is growing on me though, can’t afford a redo at the moment anyway.
All around mj Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 It’s been a long time since I have posted. I’ve been pretty disappointed with how things went with the new cam. It lasted a bit longer than I expected after getting death wobble one day and knocking the lower radiator hose off. I’m pretty sure the head gasket is bad and possibly a cracked head. I think I made it to November that year when I wiped a lobe on my cam (during deer season of all things). Just know that I never gave up but haven’t had a penny of extra money since. Since March this year, I have been working 63 to 75 hours a week (volunteering for overtime). I have ordered some goodies from Newcomer Racing. This thread will be resurrected soon.
All around mj Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM Okay, I’m still waiting on parts but I will get pictures tomorrow of what I’ve got. I’ve decided to go the route of MS3Pro Evo+ with some Newcomer Racing goodies. Wish me luck.
All around mj Posted Tuesday at 03:05 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:05 AM Let me rewind a bit. So, in 2008ish, I bought the house I grew up in from my mom. In 2021 I sold that house, because everybody seemed to think that meant they could live with us for free, and I ended up moving my family, our son would’ve been 13 and our daughter 7, in with my grandma while we were in between houses. I think it was around 2019 when we had inherited part of my mother and father in laws land, we decided to build out here. So, 2022-2023 our new house was being built. We moved into our house in March of 2023, on the 13th, which is my son’s birthday, during spring break. A month or two before deer season that year my new cam decided that it had had enough. It had been parked for three long years and I am determined to revive it.
