Chrome 4x4 emblem location

so I have "new" chrome 4x4 emblems to install on my 1992 and wondering what the location should be that year.  Should they be under the cab vents or at the rear of the bedside similar to the XJ Cherokee...I have seen both on Comanches and actually prefer the rear of the bed but want to know where it should be
