89 MJ
I know that the Peugeot and the AX-15 have different numbers of splines on the output shaft where it goes into the transfer case. When did the AW4 switch to the same number of splines as the AX-15? I am trying to figure out if I should save the 96 231 that came behind my AW4 for my 97 AX-15. derf
It was early 90's. '96 certainly has 23 splines. According to this: https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1053970, they made the switch in the AW4 mid year in 1990
