Psveritas Posted August 19, 2020 Share Posted August 19, 2020 Hello all, figured it's time I make formal registry / hello post. 1990 Comanche Sportruck 4.0 / 4 speed auto / 2WD / SWB No idea on build date, that sticker is far gone. PIcked it up from Ohio, almost West Virginia area, and hauled it up to Michigan, in the Saginaw Bay area where it now resides. It does run, although it does need some work done to run properly. Water pump, vacuum, fuel pump, etc. all need to be replaced. Probably a hose refresher. Goal is to restore as close to a stock look as possible, but I don't mind mechanical upgrades. Just no lift or 35's in it's future. Some body work needed on passenger side where she's rusted, as well as floor boards. Pretty basic Comanche (sportruck after all) that is a 2wd. May do a 4wd in the future... Column shift auto, manual doors, White exterior with the burgundy interior, bench seat that's original and in immaculate condition. Dash, etc, all in amazing condition. Do need to fix driver side window (stuck down, or missing) and get some audio working (will upgrade that system). Beautiful truck with minor rust spots other than a rusted through passenger rocker as mentioned. I'm now the owner, and it's sitting at my private residence where she's going to go through a lot of TLC love and care. Bought it on my father's (now deceased) birthday. He used to own a VERY similar setup (his was 4wd) and was a mechanic / shop owner for years until he was forced to stop due to health. I was his caregiver for years.
