The thing is I’m not too sure about brands and what not. I have an 88 Comanche that’s auto and 4wd. Been wanting to get an ax15 to start but again don’t know where to look. Anything is appreciated! What do you want to do with it? DD, offroad, etc. A good source for parts is a comparable XJ with an AX15, 4wd. It will come with all the parts you need to swap from auto to manual.
