  1. I have an 89 comanche with 180k miles on it and it was running just fine but the other day while driving the engine just turned off for a second then turned back on and I was able to keep my speed. It then began to happen every other minute and it would cut off for longer periods at a time so I turned around from where I was going to be safe. I have driven it since and the issue had went away but it started back up yesterday. Anyone know what could be wrong?

  3. Friend of mine is gutting his XJ and my Comanche is an 89 that didn’t come with an AC from the factory. Is it possible to add the AC into the Comanche? I know it’s gonna be a long process to just remove all the parts from the XJ alone. That being said does anyone know if it’s possible and know what I’ll be needing to remove exactly?   7. I have an 89 Comanche. It’s kind of my daily and haven’t had any issues with it but couple weeks back I turned it on and it wouldn’t turn over. So I figured the battery is dead so I got a jump and it turned back on but after a few seconds it turned back off. Tried to jump it again and it wouldn’t turn over. The battery is relatively new got it earlier in the year so I figured maybe it’s the alternator or gas problem. I checked the schrader valve and there’s good pressure so I’m not sure what it was. Few hours later I tried to turn it back on and it turned on like nothing even happened. I’ve driven it a handful of times since and the problem hasn’t happened again. Should I be concerned?   9. I’ve been wanting to do some pretty heavy upgrades and don’t really have a price range because it’s something I will be doing with time. The thing is I’m not too sure about brands and what not.   11. So I have stock brakes on my 89 Comanche with some 33s and the braking is complete garbage. I’m surprised I haven’t rear ended someone yet and I don’t want that day to come. Any upgrade recommendations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Okay cool, soooo- I pretty much have a stock 89 mj aside from the lift I have on it. I got 174k miles on it. From what I want... I’m not too sure I just want to have a variety of option. What I do want, don’t know how plausible this is, is to keep it forever hence the engine swap. I have little knowledge but am trying to learn vigorously so I am no longer ignorant. I want to be able to go off road and be able to drive it long distances to national parks. As far as price range I’m up for anything. Don’t plan on dropping lots of money on it since I am a full time student but it will be good to know how much I will be needing in the future so I can start saving. Thanks for your time!
