Unrelated to MJs ... My dad has an 89 Wrangler that has a 4.0 with a Carburetor. According to the parts store this 7% of Wranglers. Does any one have experience with these carbs as , no matter what we've done, it will not maintain idle.

Just flat out dies, if not being revved, and thank you for the correction. So, you can start it up, drive it, but, you have to be revving the engine or shift to neutral, and maintain a steady pressure on the gas to keep it going. He was thinking of selling it, but he's kind of attached to it. He cleaned it, did the things he could think of, adjusted idle arms etc.
