reevesmanche87 Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 just recently rebuilt the TBI on my 87 2.5l comanche and when I went to crank it, I wasnt getting any power. I know the battery is good because I took it from my daily and both terminals were properly tight. anyone know what my problem could be?

I don't think it's the relay because I'm not getting power anywhere in the jeep. should have made that a little more clear lol
eaglescout526 Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 A lot of the trucks power comes originates at the starter relay with the fusible links. Has the battery cables been replaced?

eaglescout526 Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 I would do a voltage drop test. You said the battery is good and has 12v. I would test to see if the cable is sending 12V down the line to the starter relay.
