m2bandit Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Where can I get a seal that goes between the two sliders, and the latch for it? I have the big piece of the latch just not what it clips to on the other side. Also need the inner shifter boot for the AX15. I ordered one but it looks nothing like the original, not sure how it would fit in there.
eaglescout526 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 After market 4 pane or factory 3 pane slider?

eaglescout526 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Is there a C.R. Lawrence stamp/nameplate on the lower left hand corner on the drivers side?

There is, I thought that was just a sticker the p/o put on there. It looks like the p/o pried it open and broke the latch. It also has burs in the frame preventing it from closing all the way. I found a Laurence latch part number dv2 but it appears mine was glued on not screwed on. I take it there's no seal and one kind of slides into the other.
eaglescout526 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Yep, that's the company, not a sticker. Yeah there's not really a seal there. The latch is supposed to be screwed in, I am not familiar with the manufactures history on their window for our trucks but my latch is screwed in and I know they have a replacement latch kit.

I double checked definitely glued on. Maybe I can get the replacement and use rearview mirror glue.

Advance Auto has two kinds of 3M mirror glue, regular and extra strong I used ES for my factory latch, worked great, sand any paint off glue surface first
