TheDude
Nope. "Illuminating" Ha.I have the Cree knock offs of these and love them. Are these worth the extra money? Also why didn't you use them?Founding Member of the Comanche Preservation Society

They're better quality/constructed than any of the knock-offs, which is why they're knocked off. There's a whole forum here on CC.com dedicated to lighting. I did a short write up on the quality of the Truck-Lites, Eagle Lights and CREE. I bought all three. I have Eagle Lights in my XJ (very similar in design to Truck-Lites) and they're middle ground in price point between CREE and Truck-Lite. You get what you pay for. The Truck-Lites are, or were, standard in US military vehicles for a reason. If you have deep pockets and poor night vision, go for JW Speaker. They kick-a$$. They're also somewhere in the $500 range EACH.

JW Speaker and Dialight (to a much lesser extreme) are the two others that are used in high numbers. Still a lot of halogens floating around, however. SiXJaK
Totally agree on JW Speaker. Had them on my 12 Rubicon. They are hands down the best headlights and fog lights I’ve ever driven behind. They are going on my MJ.
