JP5A or JP5B diesel gas tank

Does anyone know which Spectra tank does not have the baffles in it? I seem to be having a hard time finding out which is the diesel tank. Spectra has JP5A and JP5B

JP5A. Check out AutoZone's website. They state "No attached sump" for the A, and "Yes attached sump" for B.

I'm curious as to why the diesel version doesn't have a baffle/sump?

Diesels got the full 23.5 gallons instead of the 16.

I checked out AutoZone. The diesel is the A and the B is the gas.
The sump is a round ring on the bottom of the tank. To help keep gas at the pickup. But it is also what interferes with XJ fuel pump and sending unit.
I am not sure why the diesel does not need to keep the fuel around the pick and a gas does.
