CoastChief Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 I have taken them apart a few times now. The housing for the ball joint is broken. I JB welded and fixed most of the unit. They just don't hold pressure on the actual ball joint for the mirrors. I was going to replace them with jeep OEM xj mirrors. I just do not want to bondo and have to possibly make my car look worse than it did with the holes in the door. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CoastChief Posted February 15, 2020 Author Share Posted February 15, 2020 For now I have added pipe fasteners and tape. Until I can set time aside to correct the holes. I have chrome manual mirrors.
