Dammerung Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 I’ve heard that you can replace the ECU in an 88 and below MJ/XJ and gain a few extra ponies from the engine, but what about the TCU? Does replacing that with an 89-90 do anything for me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
WahooSteeler Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 88 and up TCU's are good to go. 87 TCU's apparently had poor shift points and are worth replacing with an 88+ TCU.
